—Hello Friend
Not sure how you found your way here, but I’m glad you did.
My name is Ali Papa and I am the author and conveyor of Vistas of Hope, a platform that offers the never-ending flow of inspirational words of faith, hope, and love, curated for every season and story.
—The Beginning of Vistas of Hope
Vistas of Hope was born out of my personal struggle with something largely unspoken about—depression. A few years ago, I was going through a difficult time in my life. I was grappling with feelings of loneliness, sadness, regrets, and every issue common to most relationships, career and faith.
One day, unable to figure out how to cope with my emotions, I decided to send motivational SMS messages to my friends, colleagues and fellow church members. I wanted to share some words of encouragement and hope with them, hoping that they would also help me feel better.
I wrote things like "Dear Someone, may you get the good news you've been hoping for and may you feel supported and not alone." or "Dear Someone, let go and let God. Allow your past make you better and not bitter." I didn't know who would receive them or how they would react, but I just wanted to spread some positivity in the world.
—The Birth and Growth of Vistas of Hope
To my surprise, the SMS messages were well received by many people. They spread quickly among my contacts who thanked me for brightening their day and asked me to add more people to my list. Some even forwarded the messages to their contacts and asked them to join too.
Soon, I had thousands of phone numbers on my list and I was sending SMS messages for free to strangers and friends across the globe. I realized that there were many people who were going through similar challenges and needed a dose of hope and inspiration in their lives.
As the number of people who wanted to receive my messages increased, and with nearly 10,000 SMS messages sent to strangers and friends already, I realized that I needed a better way to reachout to anyone who needs a daily dose of encouragement, prayers, reminder of God's promises, or a spark of joy in their lives. I also wanted to share more than just SMS messages.
I wanted to share stories, insights and lessons that God placed in my heart.
That's when I decided to create Vistas of Hope, a website and social media platform on Instagram, Threads, Twitter, and Facebook where I could share more messages and letters of hope with the world and other little things that God inspired me to give. I created a WhatsApp Community of people who could support, chat and pray for each other and find strength in God's word. I also created a WhatsApp Channel for people who wants to read my letters privately without sharing their number with others.
—The Future and Impact of Vistas of Hope
Since then, Vistas of Hope has since grown beyond my expectation into a movement that has touched the lives of thousands of people around the world. We now have over 64k followers on Facebook alone and we receive hundreds of messages and comments from people who tell us how our words have touched their hearts and changed their lives. I'm equally humbled and grateful for the support and love that I receive from our community.
Vistas of Hope has become more than just a platform for me. It has become a movement of hope that empowers people to overcome their challenges and pursue their dreams. It has also become a source of healing and joy for me as I see how God is using me to bless others.
My vision for Vistas of Hope is to continue spreading the message of faith, hope and love to as many people as possible. I want to inspire people to overcome their challenges and pursue their dreams. I want to show them that they are not alone and that God has a plan for their lives.
I also want to collaborate with other bloggers, writers, speakers and influencers who share the same passion and mission as Vistas of Hope. Together, we can make a bigger impact and reach more people with our words.
