Dear Someone: Anxiety is a liar - One day, everything will all make sense.
Read this if anxiety clouds your vision of God's faithfulness, if waiting feels endless, or if you need reassurance that your current struggles are part of a greater purpose.
Dear, Dear Someone, _
Your anxious heart prompted me to write today, knowing that sometimes the space between promise and fulfillment can feel like an endless desert. Yet in this very space, God is masterfully weaving together every thread of your story—the golden ones and the dark ones—into a tapestry of divine purpose.
One day, you will get answers to every unwritten question, and tears of gratitude will flow as you recognize how God used every detour to direct you, every delay to develop you, every disappointment to deliver you into your destiny. Just as Joseph discovered that his pit became his pathway to the palace, your challenges are becoming channels for God's glory.
One day, every prayer whispered in darkness will bloom in daylight. You will get what you have always prayed for. One day, God will wipe your tears away. One day, you He will transmute your tears into triumph, your shame into glory, your frustrations into fulfillment, and your financial difficulties into testimonies of His provision. Remember how He turned Sarah's laughter of doubt into laughter of joy, Mary's confusion into the greatest blessing humanity would know.
One day, God will call you out and give you a new story. He will single you out among everyone and bless you abundantly just as He singled out Noah among multitudes.
Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I consider you alone to be righteous." (Genesis 7:1 TLB).
Your faithfulness in obscurity is preparing you for divine distinction. Your persistence through trials is positioning you for triumph.
One day, divine favour will clothe you like Joseph's coat of many colors (see Genesis 37:3 TLB). God will cause people to become instruments of His blessing in your life. Even those who once opposed you will become stepping stones to your elevation, just as Pharaoh's butler's forgetfulness became the perfect timing for Joseph's promotion.
One day, every circumstance will pivot in your favour, echoing the Psalmist's confidence: "The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!" (Psalms 56:9 TLB). Your battles are becoming bridges to breakthrough, your struggles are becoming stories of success.
May that be your testimony. One day, you will get the job you have always wanted. You will get the call you have been waiting for. You will have your own happy family. One day, something beautiful will drop on your laps.
