Don't feel bad when you meet anyone who loves to make hell feel like home for themselves and everyone that comes into their lives. Don't take it personal when someone you love, someone you respect and expect so much from, becomes vile, emotionally unstable, abusive, disrespectful, and shows unmatched and never-before-seen nastiness.
While we are all damaged in our own way, every single one of us, it is never the same for an emotionally damaged person. A damaged person may build walls too high for anyone to climb as a defence against further pain. A damaged person might see the world through the lens of their past traumas, which can colour their interactions with a shade of mistrust.
A damaged person could push you away at first, fearing that closeness will lead to vulnerability. A damaged person might overanalyze your words, looking for hidden meanings or signs of impending betrayal. A damaged person may have moments where they cling too tightly, driven by the fear …
