It took me a long time to learn that there are people who take every communication as an argument. It took me too long to learn that sometimes people can't give you what they can't give themselves. It took me a few heartbreaks to know that inside every person, there’s a person you don’t know.

It took me a long time to learn that there are people who have battles going on inside them. These people are those who can't give you peace because they are at war with themselves. They can't give you loyalty because they betray themselves. These people feel that everyone is against them. They are upset about life.

As you try to find yourself today, I hope you find peace and happiness within yourself rather than waiting for others who may not be happy with themselves to be happy for you. I hope you find people who are good for your soul and not those who bring you drama because they are upset with their own failures and imperfections.
